Flu is hitting hard this time around. Considered a nationwide epidemic,
CDC says not all symptoms are flu. There are also viruses with flu-like symptoms hitting the young and old---particularly dangerous to both.
How to know---without having a specimen tested, it is hard to know if it's a flu or one of the viruses going around.
Common signs and symptoms of the flu include:
- Fever over 100.4 F (38 C)
- Aching muscles, especially in your back, arms, and legs.
- Chills and sweats.
- Headache.
- Dry, persistent cough.
- Fatigue and weakness.
- Nasal congestion.
- Sore throat.
According to NHS, You can often treat the flu without seeing your GP and should begin to feel better in about a week.
Regularly Sanitize your hands, devices, phone, tablet, laptop. PC.
I've started using the wipes at store entrances not just to wipe down the cart but also when picking up items, and if you use self-check-out, wipe the buttons on the pay machine.
I grab a few when leaving and give a good wipe to my hands and steering wheel.
Stay at least three feet away from anyone who's coughing or sneezing.
Get enough sleep.
Do not share anything with anyone or touch anything a person who seems in poor health touches.
Eat lots of fruits and vegetables
